The New Family Man

I clearly remembering hearing Matt's name for the first time. Jim had gone to an HRATs meeting, and had been overwhelmingly impressed by the group, its goals, its organization, and he couldn't stop talking about Matt Klee. Not long after that (it might have been that same conversation), Jim happily reported to me that he "had found the right guy" to take over the care and upkeep of his beloved Family Man trail. Family Man had been a labor of love and sanity for Jim with his buddy Dave Bisset while we were in the throws of having babies, but he had not been able to put the love needed into it for far too long. With Matt's and HRATs new influence, the trail went from being rather broken down and in need of repairs to AMAZING!! It is a little work of art in the middle of that playground that we call Post Canyon, and it has become so much more than it was back then. The little baby pump track has to be my favorite addition!! I get a little goose bumpy now riding through there, and will always and forever think of Matt and what a caring, generous, and talented guy that he was. Jen, know that you are constantly on my mind.
