The Tomato Garden

Dear Owen,

I never officially met you, but I do remember summer before last whatching you, your father and other friends working so hard out on your friend Carolyn's farm. You were just a young boy, but you were working just like a Man, digging shoveling as fast as you could beside your Dad. My Dad and I were standing together watching all of you. You were all determined to get those tomato plants in as fast as possilbe. Even though I don't know you, I have heard so many wonderful and positive things about you from my family in Hood River. You are very loved and will be missed so much by all of our family.
