Obituary for Albert L. Schiebel

Albert L. Schiebel
Albert Lee Schiebel passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the arms of his wife at his home in Hood River which is exactly the way he wanted to start his next journey. Al was born February 13, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to Frank and Harriet (Blake) Schiebel and was 57 years of age.

He grew up in Sparta, Wisconsin and Saint Louis, Missouri. Al graduated from Sparta High School in 1974. Then continued his education earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology at Milwaukee School of Engineering. Al was a senior Electrical engineer at Insitu for seven years.

January 31, 2014 he married Shari Quary sharing their home together in Hood River.

The family describes Al as soft spoken until he grabs a microphone. He had a beautiful voice! Al enjoyed singing classical rock, and playing the bass guitar and he loved to listen to vinyl. He had a brilliant mind that was always ON, and music was one of the few distractions from which his mind would take a break!

Al is survived and will be dearly missed by his spouse Shari of Hood River, step daughter Jasmine of Hood River, brothers Frank and Keith Schiebel, sister Alice Riggleman. He also leaves behind his 3 adopted cats, Oscar, Screech, & Baby Shit. He is irreplaceable and will be missed more than words can describe.

Celebration of life is scheduled for April 2014. Details will be available soon.

Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations) 1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
