The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lydia Steinfield-Baker can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I have known Johan for several years, but we never met face to face... we played a facebook game together and sent emails, sometimes long and personal discussions on life, love and the universe. I was shocked and sad to hear of her passing, especially as I feel that I missed out on the opportunity to say goodbye, to tell her how she had become a presence in my life, to tell her how I love the little comments and responses she would regularly put on my facebook wall. I play the facebook game much less now - because it feels as if she must still be there, but she isn't and there's an odd gap, a silence. I miss her. I always felt that at some point I would meet up with her, and go out with her and the puppies ( not puppies now though). I send reiki and good wishes to all the family she left behind XX
