Condolence From: Susie Hopkins
Condolence: Today I was on my way from Portland to Tollgate Bridge park for a friends memorial . As I headed home and past Upper Valley vetrinary my heart sunk It looked all closed down and I knew it meant one thing . The world lost such a special caring person . My sister Janice Clarke brought her all kinds of animals to be healed but most of all her beloved dog Bluberry . He was a quirky one that Kathi opened her door to not just to be healed but to be his friend and let him stay with her . I lost my sister Janice January 12 2013 My heart is broken but now even more so finding out about Dr. Kathi . She saved my daughters dog Sadie And repaired my dog Ellie's knee . She tried her darnedest to help Oliver . They are with her now . I am sorry to all the family and everyone that has been touched by this special lady she will be missed . Susie Hopkins

Condolence: Kathi was an amazing lady. We first met Kathy when our children both attended Parkdale Elementary. Justine and Christine were quite a pair and their friendship brought our two families together. Sid, Orion and Justine; we are so sorry for this loss….. Kathi was a gift, and we all have been blessed to have had her in our lives. Each one of us holds a special memory of Kathi. Not only did she care and love animals, she understood the joys and sorrows that each of us felt when we had animals in need of care. Thank you Kathi for teaching us how to play Hearts and for the friendship you and your family shared when we lived in Parkdale. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Psalm 91:4

Condolence: It breaks our hearts to say goodbye to such a strong woman as Kathi. She was a devoted veterinarian to our four legged children over the last 20+ years. Zeus, Peanut Butter, Spice, Thunder Cloud, Gwennie, Buckwheat, Curly, and Spanky benefitted from her knowledgeable care. She soothed our hearts when we worried and helped us understand the gift of compassion. I know many, many other families have their own lineup of animals who enjoyed the comfort of her loving touch. She will be missed and remembered.

Condolence: It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we find ourselves here. Dr. Kathi was simply the best veterinarian with a calm and gentle spirit, an attentive ear, capable healing hands, and a quick smile. What a service to this community! We feel your loss too. May God heal and bless us all, just as Dr. Kathi did with our pets. If there's some comfort we can give, it's that your wife and mother touched hundreds of hearts and lives, and so accomplished and fulfilled her life's purpose. She made you all proud! May God grant you His eternal peace.
