Obituary for Milton Edward Schliebe

Milton “Dutch” Schliebe was born on May 26, 1922, in Columbia, South Dakota, and went to be with his Lord on September 5, 2013, in Anaheim, California. Milt worked on the docks in San Pedro, California, for Standard Oil for over 30 years before retiring to Klickitat, Washington, with his second wife, Jessie. Deteriorating health led Milt and Jessie to move back to Southern California where he lived out the rest of his time on earth. Milt is survived by his wife, Jessie; his children, Steve, Mike and Kim (Biondo); his grandchildren, Chet, Danielle, Matthew and Jamie; his brother, Charles; sister Dolores; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Services will be held on September 22nd at 2:00pm at First Lutheran Church, 905 Atlantic Ave., Long Beach, CA 90813.
