Christmas Eve was the one day all the family would get together each year at Grandma Holmstrom's. We all grew up and those times came to an end, but those are fond memories. Summer time at grandmas was in the garden, eating radishes, rhubarb, tomatoes, and blueberries. Picking plumbs from the tree. Playing on her piano and exploring her basement. I am so grateful for the times I had with her and the opportunities to hear her life story. I will forever and always miss her and love her. P.S. she could be a really funny lady sometimes. The look she would get in her eyes when she said something funny and made the room crack up would make you laugh even harder.
