Obituary for William "Bill" Trujillo

William Trujillo, age 86, passed away at home in Dallesport Washington on July 20, 2021.

William was born July 2, 1935 in Worland Wyoming, his parents were Manuel and Marciala Trujillo.

On November 17, 1969 William married his wife of 52 years, Genevieve of White Salmon Washington. He worked at The Dalles Dam prior to beginning his career on the Railroad with SP&S which later became Burlington Northern. He worked 37 years for the Railroad system wearing different hats as he moved up within the company.

William was preceded in death by his siblings, Mitchell Trujillo, Worland, WY; Mary T. Macias, Toppenish, WA; Jesus (Mingo) Trujillo, Wapato, WA; Joseph Trujillo, Worland, WY; Alice Diaz, Toppenish, WA; Manuel (Chapo) Trujillo, Toppenish, WA; Jessie Cordero, Toppenish, WA; George Trujillo, Worland, WY; Frank Trujillo, Toppenish, WA, Rita Trujillo, Warden, WA and his daughter Pamela Napoli, CA.

William’s current surviving sibling is one sister, Jody Valdez of Federal Way, WA.

William is survived by his wife Genevieve Trujillo, Dallesport WA, William Trujillo CA, Roland and Andrea Trujillo, Marysville WA and Shannon Trujillo, Dallesport WA. 3 Granddaughter, 1 Grandson and 1 Great Grandson along with numerous Nieces and Nephews.

William shared himself with family, friends, and the community which allowed him to be a mentor for many. He could tell stories and jokes that had your gut splitting along with laughter. William was athletic while growing up and enjoyed boxing, baseball, and tennis. He enjoyed sport event during his life, he coached baseball for a lot of years and was a season ticket holder of the Seattle Seahawks. He also enjoyed fishing with family and friends. Everyone knew him as Uncle Bill.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on August 7, 2021 12:00p.m. at The Dalles Civic Auditorium (323 E 4th St, The Dalles, OR 97058).
