Timothy Scott Roberts of Camas, Washington passed away August 9th, 2022 at his home.  Tim was born August 17th, 1956 and was 65 years of age at the time of passing. 

Tim was born in Hood River, Oregon on August 17th, 1956 to Doyle and Deloris Phillips Roberts, joining siblings Christopher, Karen, Patricia, and Susan.  He attended Hood River Valley High School.

Tim was a member of the Retail Clerks Union.  He worked for Safeway and other retail stores as well as Lucky Grocery stores in California before returning to the Portland Metro area.  He worked many years at Metro Auto Wholesale buying cars for the dealership.  The last seven years of his life, Tim worked for Columbia Distributors. 

Tim enjoyed visiting with family and friends.  In addition, he loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles, taking trips to Sturgis in South Dakota, down through Moab in Utah, and the Painted Desert in Arizona.  

Tim was predeceased by his parents Doyle Roberts (2001) and Deloris Phillips Roberts (2008).  He is survived by his siblings Chris Roberts- The Dalles, Oregon, Karen Asbury (Bob)- Huffman, Texas, Patricia Roberts-Hasenbalg (Ron)- Salem, Oregon, Susan Ratliff (Chris)- Hood River, Oregon, nephews Ryan Asbury (Lark)- Beaverton, Oregon, Bobby Asbury (Shawna)-Huffman, Texas, Brian Ratliff- Tigard, Oregon, niece Katelyn Eshbach (Matt)- Tacoma, Washington, great-nephew Finn Eshbach- Tacoma, Washington and aunts, uncles and numerous cousins in California, Washington, Oregon, Wisconsin & Mississippi.

You can shed tears that Tim is gone or you can smile because he has lived a life he would have liked to live.  You can close our eyes and pray that he comes back or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.  Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him or you can be full of love that you shared.  You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.  You can remember Tim and only that he is gone or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.  You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what Tim would want, smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Graveside Committal Services are planned for 11:30 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery (1235 Tucker Road, Hood River, OR 97031).
