Timothy (Tim) Richard Clarke of Hood River, Oregon passed away suddenly on December 14, 2022 at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Tim was born on September 20, 1957 in Hood River, Oregon to Richard (Dick) Clarke and Carol Ann (Craig). Tim was the oldest of three children; brother Keith and sister Anita followed. Tim was born and spent his life in Hood River, Oregon.

Tim, who was also known as Papa Tim by his grandchildren, was loved by his family. He was a hard worker who worked as a chef at Tugboat Annie’s for many years. He was a chef at Columbia Gorge Hotel and studied as a chef under Master Chef Wolfgang Puck, who took Tim personally under his wing; for this, he considered himself privileged! He finished his career in the deli at Rosauers for the past 16 years. Tim and Diane loved the coast. Tim and Diane would spend all his vacations there! Besides his family, he loved to collect antiques and Hot Wheels cars. They attended Shepherd of the Valley Bible Church, where they were just married 1 year ago, in October.

Timmy is survived by his wife Diane Ambrocio-Clarke, Father Richard, son Christopher and wife Kelly (Cunningham), daughter Stephanie and husband Mike Frank, brother Keith and wife Nancy (Nafsinger), sister Anita and husband Ed Sohler, along with many cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as Diane’s children Dennis, Heather, Jillianne and Tony Wagner, Jesse, Chicoby and Richard Ambrocio and her grandchildren. Timothy is preceded in death by his Mother Carol.

A celebration of life and reception will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Anderson’s Tribute Center (1401 Belmont Ave, Hood River, OR 97031) with burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery (1235 Tucker Road, Hood River, OR 97031).
