Life Story for Sandi Chamberlain

Sandi Diana Chamberlain passed away on June 30, 2019 after a battle with lung cancer. She passed at her home surrounded by her loving daughter Wendy, grandson Kyle and little munchkin, Chris by her side.

She was born and adopted by Oscar and Olive Swanson of Portland, Oregon. She grew up in Portland and attended Girls Polytechnic High School. Sandi’s professional career and where she retired from was NW Natural Gas Company.

She also enjoyed volunteering her time to her local fire department, water department and grass car racing in Wamic. She loved playing games with her “bitches” (as she would jokingly call her friends) and doing many crafts. Sandi never knew a stranger and was a friend to many, she believed in the mantra of “doing it right the first time”.

Sandi was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Steven Kay. She is survived by her daughter Wendy (Jim) MacVicar of Washington; grandchildren Kyle, Elsa, and Colton; son Ron Kawamoto of Arizona; Surprising new family members niece Dawn May of Montana; Sister Karen (Mike) McNeil of California; Great nephews Adam Sattergren of Oregon and Joshua Fleetwood of Washington.
