Condolence: Dear Bev, You and I met in 6th grade, I think. We became school and church friends, each of us having lost a parent and each of us still having one living parent who nurtured us carefully. I think your birthday is about Sept. 12 or 13. I remember our enjoyable and sometimes thoroughly silly good times together in those years, including slumber parties. I'm so glad that you and Russ found each other and had such a long and lovely marriage. I send you sympathy now, as well as memories full of affection for our girlhood together. --Virginia
