Patti Marie Sellin was born October 4, 1952, in Hood River, Or to Virgil and Pearl Sellin. She had an older sister to Vicki and six cousins who were as close as any siblings could be. She graduated from Wy’east High School. During that time she was a cheer leader for four years and a member of Hood River Saddle club where she won trophies for barrel racing and ribbons in 4-H.
In 1974, Patti graduated from the University of Oregon and directly went to work for what was then Northwest Orient. She was based in Minneapolis Mn . She loved the job, the people she met and traveling to all sorts of cities and countries. During her time in Minnesota she married and became Patti Campbell. She lived on a hobby farm and once again enjoyed the country lifestyle surrounded by horses, chickens, dogs and cats. She also gained two step children, Robert and Christine Campbell who she loved and remained in contact with after her divorce in 1997.
In 2001 Patti moved back to Oregon and lived Gresham near her mother , sister and cousins. Although she continued to work for the airlines, she also was attaining a Private Investigators license. In 2002 she started working part time on criminal defense cases as well as commuting to Minneapolis. In 2004 after 30 years with the airlines she retired and worked as a full time investigator for the next 20 years. She loved the job, the attorneys she worked with and the challenges of the cases.
She was a woman with many interests ranging from needlepoint to target shooting. She was always active in the church and later in politics as well. She was loyal, interesting and forever kind.
A graveside committal for Patti was held 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Idlewilde Cemetery (980 Tucker Road, Hood River, Oregon 97031).
