Myris Coralie Paasch-Lovely, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on November 14, 2018, in Klamath Falls, Oregon at the age of 80. She was born on September 12, 1938 and was 80 years of age at the time of her passing.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday December 8, 2018 at Anderson’s Tribute Center 91401 Belmont Ave. Hood River, OR 97031) with a reception to immediately follow. Private interment services will be at Idlewilde Cemetery.

Myris was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Leslie Earl Judd and Florence Cordelia Judd (Fetter), she moved as a child from Alaska to Oregon. She graduated in 1956 from Wy’East High School in Hood River. In July 1955, Myris married Allen Lewis Paasch, with whom she had three daughters and a son, who were raised on the Paasch Farm in Hood River. Allen passed away in 2000. On October 1997, she married Alvin O. Knopf in Milton-Freewater, Oregon, and they resided in Walla Walla, Washington until his passing on November 17, 2015.

Myris is survived by; son, David (Tedi) Paasch; daughters, Sharlene (Jay) Atkinson, Janice Paasch and Rosemarie (David) Robatcek; siblings, Donald (Pat) Judd, Kate (Rodger) Magnuson; grandchildren, Joshua Leininger, Naomi Atkinson, Andrew Robatcek, Katelyn (Mike), Doroski, Leandra Paasch, Duran (Liz) Paasch-Catalano, and Matthew (Trisha) Leininger; great-grandchildren, Gavin Robatcek, Gracie Robatcek and Andrew James Leininger; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, sister, Cordelia Pinner, brother, William Judd, and grandson, Jeffery Allen Leininger.

Myris had a very deep loving spirit for Jesus and was a member of various churches in Hood River, Oregon, Walla Walla, Washington, and most recently Klamath Christian Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She was an avid seamstress, enjoyed oil painting, fishing, camping, hiking, playing piano and singing for worship services and teaching Bible studies. Myris was a volunteer for Hospice, liked reading to children in schools and worked for Timberline Lodge at one point. She was involved with Women for Agriculture, and promoted the use of Bartlett pears by creating a variety of Pear Pie recipes. She participated in Toastmasters and Aglow. Mostly, she enjoyed spending quality time with loved ones and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who were blessed by knowing her.
