Obituary for Kevin Eugene Burrows - Ellenberg
Kevin Eugene Burrows-Ellenberg of Boise, ID passed away in Wyeth, OR on November 30, 2019. Born to parents James Kevin Burrows and Kristen Ann Ellenberg Robey on January 13, 1987 in Northridge, CA, he was just 32 years old. He had one sister Kourtney Marie Robey.
Kevin attended Capitol High School and then went on to a Job Corps Welding program and later tank mechanic school while in the Marines. There he also scored the highest PFT in basic for his series. He became a certified welder and always had several projects in the works that he enjoyed working on in his free time.
He was a free spirit, but Boise, ID was always his home. Kevin was also an adrenaline junkie and had an appetite for adventure. He once climbed Mt. Hood on a whim, traveled the PCT trail and participated in skydiving. He had too many friends to list, but Sonja Schaff was his love and Ricky Steele was his bro. One of his biggest gifts in life was his compassion for his fellow man…A trait that defined him and came from a higher power. He also believed in the Lord.
Kevin is survived by his mother Kristen Ann (Ellenberg) Robey and step father Richard Edward Robey Jr.; father James Kevin Burrows; sister Kourtney Marie Robey; multiple friends and a large loving family.
A memorial service for Kevin will be held at 1:30pm Saturday December 14, 2019 at Foothills Christian Church (9655 West State Street Boise, ID 83714).
He will be missed.
