Kathleen Leah Parkki (Kathy) was born on April 4, 1940 to Melvin and Kathryn Drew in Berkeley, California.  She passed away peacefully on December 9, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

Kathy received her AA degree at Ohlone College in Fremont, California, where she also worked as a Lab Technician in the Biology Lab for many years.  She then went to work for CSAA as a dispatcher and made many friends with her co-workers.

Kathy will be greatly missed by many.  She enjoyed going to church and teaching Sunday School.  She loved spending time with the children. 

Kathy loved visiting the family's hobby farm and hanging out with all of the animals.  They knew they could always depend on her to bring them lots of treats.

She enjoyed watching her great grandsons play ball and loved cheering for them.

Her greatest love was her best friend and constant companion, her dog Lawrence.  They loved to go on special adventures together. 

Kathy is survived by her daughter Suzy Parkki and her son Tony Parkki.  Her grandchildren Liam Parkki, Stephanie McCoy and her husband Josh McCoy, William Parkki and his wife Anastasia Chambers and Kathryn Evans.  Her great grandsons Donald Brewster, Sean Parkki, Wyatt Brewster, Austin Parkki, Brian Brewster and Jamison Heath. Her cat Smokey and her beloved dog Lawrence, who misses her dearly.
