Obituary for Jackie Elsa Prejean-Potts

After a hard battle with cancer the angels came to welcome an angel home, Jacqueline “Jackie” Elsa Prejean-Potts. She was born in Pineville, Louisiana on March 30, 1961 and passed away in Hood River, Oregon on December 7, 2022.

An amazing life she lived, even when suffering she gave as much as she could to make others happy. To give it all they have to be helpful to others; and love themselves always.  She fell in love with the beauty of Hood River, Oregon and wanted to set up her roots here. After Jackie moved to the Hood River area she met her future Husband, Steven W. Potts. Soon after she met his four children, Cheri, Steven M, Jessica and Rebecca. Jackie, not having any children of her own, fell in love with them all and cared for them as her own. Then Jackie and Steven W married at The Church of the Nazarene in Parkdale, Oregon on November 30, 1996. She spent the next 26 years building a wonderful life with her family in Dee, Oregon.
