He grew up in Mt Shasta, California and moved to The Dalles, Oregon. He started working in the Aluminum industry and ended his 40 year career working for NorthWest Aluminum as a maintenance supervisor. He met and married Wanda (Rosie) Denison in 1966.

Jack lived and worked in the area until his passing. He was an active member of Covenant Christian Church and enjoyed the fellowship of his friends.

Absolute gem. I've only known him for 5 years since we made Covenant Christian our home. With Jack, it was never a handshake, it was always a hug. Always a joy to see him. Love from Mitch & Kris Riefel.

I was a neighbor of Jack when he worked in the cherry orchards for Charlie Bunn in the 60's on Cherry Heights hill. He was a kind and gentle man in his youth. We shared many memories working in the orchards and I will always appreciate his friendship. He drove tractor as we swamped boxes full of cherries and sometimes, when I was deserving, he let me drive tractor. I haven't seen him since I graduated from TDHS in the 60's. My condolences to his family.
