Obituary for Jack Kendall

John Addison Clifford Kendall “Jack” passed away September 12th, 2019 at The John A. C. Kendall – more commonly known as Jack was born November 29, 1937 in Bellingham, Washington to Clifford and Laura (Giddings) Kendall.

Jack passed away on September 12, 2019 at The Springs at Mill Creek in The Dalles, Oregon.

His only sibling was Martha Reller, she and her husband, Larry blessed him with seven nieces and one nephew. His wife of fifty-six years, the former Joan Isitt who he was lucky enough to marry on July 13, 1963 had two sister and their husbands blessed him with four more nieces and one nephew.

Jack spent the majority of his working life at J.H. Baxter Tie Plant in The Dalles where he was a pole framer and Pettibone operator.

He enjoyed crafting model ships, wood burning and painting pictures, playing cards and board games with friends, Larry & Jane Mitchell. He also enjoyed shooting black powder muzzle loader with friends John and Eddie Goss.

Jack is survived by his wife, Joan of The Dalles, say a little prayer for her if you are so inclined as she journeys with her grief and loss of Jack.
