Beloved Mother and Friend, Gretta Hesselschwerdt of 1550 Brookside Dr. Hood River, OR 97031 passed away on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023 at her residence. with family at her bedside.
Gretta was born, Aug. 19, 1927 in Urbana, IL. She lived in Urbana, Clio and Grass Valley, CA, and Hood River, OR.
She is survived by her 3 children, Andy Green, Kate Dwyer and Barbara Dworschak, their children Allie Dworschak, Christa Fink and Rory Green, and 6 great grandchildren; Parker, Brooks, Lochlan Fink, Huck and Maisel Green, and Owen Pitts.
Gretta was a graduate of the University of Illinois (1949) and earned her private pilot’s license in 1967
The family will hold a celebration of Gretta’s life on Nov. 11, 2023 at 1pm, in Hood River, OR/ White Salmon. WA.
