Freda Elizabeth Morris, 94, of Tillamook, Or. passed away peacefully at Hood River Memorial Hospital, October 31, 2017.
Freda was born to John and Edith Bucherench on February 14, 1923 in Salem, Oregon. She married Francis C. Morris on June 5, 1954.
Freda grew up on in East Salem. After attending Salem Willamette, she worked as a music teacher at Wilson Elementary School, South Prairie Elementary School, Fairview Grade School, and Liberty Elementary School in Tillamook, Or. Freda enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, cooking, bowling, and many other activities. Freda helped with the Tillamook Choraliers and volunteered at the Tillamook County Fair St. John’s Booth. Freda was an Ambassador to the Rosarians, United Teacher Association, Elks Widows, and Tillamook County Museum.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents John Paul and Edith Pearl Bucherench, and her husband Francis Morris, and her brother John.
Freda is survived by her son John Morris, and their children Jeremiah Morris, and Elizabeth Rose, her son Brent Morris and his wife Sam, and their children Daniel C. Morris, Allyssa M. Thurston.
