Obituary for Clayton Evens
Clayton Howard Evens, Sr., was born September 2nd, 1930 in Marlton, New Jersey and passed away October 23rd, 2021 in Hood River, Oregon. Clayton Evens moved his family to Hood River, Oregon in 1969 to work for Diamond Fruit Inc. and retired from Diamond Fruit in 1993.
He is survived by his wife Ida Evens married for 67 years. He had four children: Clayton Evens lives in Hood River; Lorie Lane lives in Vancouver, Washington; Jacob Evens lives in Garland, Texas and Forrest Evens lives in Oregon City, Oregon.
Clayton Evens is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service with military honors is planned for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations) 1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
