Condolence: Dear Sarah and Li, I am very sorry for you loss of a wonderful husband and father. He was a highly respected faculty member in our department of Horticulture at Oregon State University. I really admired his research program at Hood River as he was able to understand the issues and conduct his research in a practical manner where the results could be of benefit to the grower/packer community and to other scientists. He made important contributions and we all had a great respect for him. I will always have fond memories of a generous and gracious colleague. My thoughts are with you.
With sincere best wishes for you,
Bill Braunworth, Department Head, Horticulture

Condolence: Dear Caixia and family,

I am so sorry to hear Yan's passing away so unexpectedly. Caixia, you and I have talked several times for my family to visit yours in Hood River, a beautiful place you love, and for your family to visit mine in California. We have been feeling so close before we have had a chance to visit each other.

I have heard lots about Yan from Teacher Liu and other friends. I just watched the beautiful video tribute on this site. You have had a truly beautiful life with Yan. It moved me to tears.

Though no words of sympathy can ease the loss you bear, still may you find some comfort knowing many others truly care and keep you in the prayer.

May God bless Yan and your family

Baolin Zhang in California, a classmate from Shandong Agricultural University.

Condolence:
