Condolence From: Tom Wylie
Condolence: Our condolences for the loss of Doug in your life. I wrote a brief "story" in the Memories section here to tell you more about what Doug Warnock meant to me. Thelma, we will send you a note shortly in response to your question about her kidney. God bless.

Condolence From: Larry Trombello
Condolence: With feelings of deepest sympathy to Thelma and family in the loss of Doug - beloved husband, friend, father and grandfather. May the many memories of the good times you shared together give you peace and comfort in this most difficult time.
Since first meeting Doug and getting to know him, I have admired and respected Doug. Doug was the ranger's ranger. He was an excellent role model for anyone wanting a career as a National Park Ranger. I first met Doug as a seasonal ranger at Shenandoah National Park where he was Chief Ranger. Four years later after military service, Doug was instrumental in getting me started on my own 28 year career as a National Park Ranger. It certainly was not as illustrious as Doug's but it was a most enjoyable and fulfilling career. I am forever grateful to Doug for his faith in me to give me that opportunity to become a National Park Ranger.
