The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ellis Wilson "Pete" Tanner can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Patty Hagen Jackson
Condolence: I have many fond memories of visiting my Uncle, Aunt, and cousins in Hood River. I especially remember the wonderful horse back rides through the beautiful Oregon countryside and orchards, lead by my Uncle Pete. He was a loving person, and I am sure he will be missed by many. My love to all of you. May God comfort you and give you peace.

Condolence From: Sandy Carter (Bjerke)
Condolence: I heart goes out to his daughter, Mo Stevenson, for his loss. He lived and long and happy life. There were many horse shows, parades and trail rides with the Hood River Saddle Club that he and many horse families attended. They were good times. In 1979 he and his life companion, Betty Bjerke, traveled the USA and Canada in their motor home, when not traveling they stayed at their site home in Yuma, AZ during the winter months
