Dear family and friends: This coming Saturday, January 2 from 0900-1100 there will be a viewing for Madelyn Simpson at Anderson Tribute Center at 1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, OR 97031 phone 541-386-1000. Following the viewing you are invited to stop by the Simpson home at 2595 Paasch Drive for visiting and lunch (pizza/salad), which is about a five mile drive from the Tribute Center. Directions will be available. phone 541-490-2236 Later that same day, we will have the grave side service with grandson Philip McKinnis officiating at 2 PM at the Pine Grove Butte Cemetery, about 1 mile from the Simpson Home. This service will be shortened due to uncertain weather conditions. Bring warm clothes and an umbrella. Attendance at any or all of the above events is optional: pick what you like. We will hold off on the Celebration of Life Service for Mom until most of the winter weather is gone. That service will be held on Saturday, March 12, at 1100 AM again at Anderson Tribute Center at 1401 Belmont Avenue in Hood River with Pastor Rick Plank of the Odell First Baptist Church officiating. Following the service, we will have a reception and catered light lunch in their adjoining room. A reminder e-mail will be sent out about a week prior to the March Celebration of Life Service.
