Condolences

Condolence From: Dave Olzman
Condolence: I took care of Wayne but for a few months, and in that time I found his disposition, and overall attitude to be nothing short of remarkable.
I just heard about Wayne being promoted to glory, and I truly know he is healthy and whole again, and running around with a big old smile on his face.

Condolence From: Susan Klaumann
Condolence: As a physical therapist I had the opportunity to work with Wayne for many years. I always admired the way he faced adversity in regards to his disability. He never failed to lose his humor and he always made others feel better. I remember when he came to our clinic one day and saw that one of my colleagues was pregnant. he wanted to make sure she was going to name her girl Waynena. We have gotten a laugh out of that for the past 5 years and will continue to do so.

He knew my husband, Steve long before me. Steve is also a spinal cord injury survivor and Wayne would always ask about him.

We will miss him around here but I know the past few years have been a struggle. Rest with your loved ones.

Wayne has been a long-time board member for the Columbia Gorge Education Service District and the CGESD Education Association members have always appreciated the time he has dedicated to support children in our community and his support for the employees of the ESD as a board member. He will be greatly missed.

Condolence From: Jerry and Dodie Hatch
Condolence: We were sorry to hear that Wayne had passed away. We met Wayne when we moved to Oregon in the 60's. He was a friend wherever you saw him. He will be missed by many and by all the people helped with his talks. He had visited our house in The Dalles many times and our son thought he was just the greatest. We are very glad to have had the opportunity to meet Wayne. God Bless.

Condolence From: John Grant
Condolence: My condolence for the loss of Wayne. He was a special part of my life growing up in Mosier. Hated to see him in a wheel chair but he was larger than life even then. He will be missed and am grieved that I didn't stop in and check up on him when I was in the area.
