Life Story for Kathryn Guzman
Kathryn "Katie" Deaville Guzman of Hood River, Oregon passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at Legacy Immanuel Medical Center, in Portland, Oregon.
Katie was born June 11, 1980 to Teresa & Kenneth Deaville. She was 35 years of age at the time of her death. Katie was born and raised in Hood River, OR. She attended West Side Elementary, Hood River Middle, and Hood River Valley High.
Katie married Jose Guzman July 1996. Katie and Jose have two boys together Christopher and Aaron. Katie had several jobs throughout her whole life, but her passion and most rewarding were caring for others.
Katie's greatest achievement was raising and loving her two boys and the many children she took under her wing and mothered. Katie is best known and remembered for her enormous heart and compassion for others.
Katie was survived by Christopher and Aaron Guzman, sons. Jose Guzman. Ken and Teresa Deaville, parents. Ken Deaville, Jr., brother. Nicole Deaville, sister. The entire Guzman family. Jack and Caroline Nyseth, grandparents. Virginia Honkola, grandmother. Many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.
Services are planned for 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 10th, 2015 at Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations) 1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
