Obituary for
Edwin Chrisman
On Wednesday, May 20, Edwin Merill Chrisman of Hood River, Oregon died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born April 18 1918, in Lubbock, Texas, his parents were Benjamin Franklin Chrisman and Mildred Boyer, who moved to California when Edwin was a child.
Married to Garnet May Conley, October 1, 1940, he lived in California and then later in the Hood River Valley, where he owned and operated a pear orchard in Parkdale.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Garnet and their son, Robert of Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandsons. All who live in the Northwest.
A graveside service for Edwin’s family and friends will be held Saturday May, 30 at 2:00 PM at Idlewilde Cemetery (980 Tucker Rd., Hood River, Or. 97031). The Rev. Robert E. Chrisman will officiate.
