Condolences

Condolence From: Donna Farah
Condolence: It was my honor and priviledge to have befriended and worked for Ruth and her family these past 8 years. Ruth had such a playful spirit about her and she was the highlight of my week. Even with un-cooperating limbs in her silent world... she still had a zest for life. And she was the most caring, compassionate person. She told me many stories of her mother and how she never complained. And I would say, "But Ruth that's YOU, too! You never complain either...." Even though she had plenty to complain about. She taught me strengths that I did not know existed... I am proud to have her cat, Callie who brings me so much joy each day. Callie and I love you, Ruth and you will be missed. I am so happy that you have finally been able to shed your earthly body and go back home.... where your light will shine eternally bright and free dear one....

Condolence From: GAIL THOMAS SITTSER
Condolence: I have so many fond memories of your mother, especially during the time we lived in Pullman and Monmouth. I remember Eric coming to our house to "play" and Elda and Nanette babysitting. Ruth and I shared much laughter and many tears over a cup of coffee. We lost contact for a number of years but found each other again while Ruth was in a rehab center. We had difficulty communicating but somehow through smiles, laughter and gestures managed to let each other know how glad we were to see each other again. She will always remain in my hearts someone who taught me so much about surviving and being strong. Love, Gail
