Obituary for Curtis Walter Fehrs

Curtis Fehrs, 60, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at PeaceHealth Southwest Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, Washington.

Curtis was born September 3, 1954 in The Dalles, Oregon to Edward and Faye (Merrill) Fehrs. After graduating from The Dalles High School, Curtis married Laura (Lucas) in Libby, Montana on June 22, 1974.

Throughout his life Curtis also resided in Cascade Locks, Or., Stevenson, Wa., and Vancouver, Wa. Curtis profession was carpentry and some of his other interests included antiques, fishing, hunting and mushroom picking. Curtis was a baptized member of Living Hope Church in Vancouver, Wa.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Faye Fehrs.

Curtis is survived by his wife Laura fehrs; his daughter Kay Bloomquist; his daughter Kimberlee Fehrs; his sister Laura Rush; and his brother Daniel Fehrs. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Cascade Locks Cemetery (86 Wa-Na-Pa Street, Cascade Locks, Or. 97014).

The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House (2112 East Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, Wa. 98661)
