Life Story for Faye Fehrs
Faye Laurene Fehrs, passed away December 16, 2014 at her home in Cascade Locks, Oregon. Faye was born February 17, 1936 and was 78 years of age at the time of her passing.
A Graveside Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Cascade Locks Cemetery (86 Wa-Na-Pa Street, Cascade Locks, Oregon 97014).
Faye was born in Hubbard, Oregon to Walter & Laura (Freeman) Hiatt. On August 29, 1953 Faye married Edward Fehr’s at Goldendale, Washington and to their union were blessed with three children; Curtis, Daniel & Laura. Ed passed away August 7th, 2007.
Over the years Faye and family have lived in; The Dalles, OR, Libby, MT, Bridgeport, WA, Skamania, WA. Goldbar, WA and Cascade Locks, OR. Faye was an active homemaker and loved being with her family. She enjoyed collecting fenton & carnival glass, antiques, garage sales, canning, working outside on her yard and garden and taking care of her little companion dog “Pixie”.
Faye is survived and will be dearly missed by her children; Curtis Fehrs (& Laura) of Vancouver, Washington, Dan Fehrs (and his wife, Ellen) of Clackamas, Oregon and Laura Rush (and her husband, Alan) of Cascade Locks, Oregon; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other distant family and many friends that she has collected over the years. In addition to her parents and husband Faye was preceded in death by a brother and eight sisters.
