Norma Jean  Bradley
Norma Jean Bradley passed away October 19th, 2014 at Carolyn’s Care in The Dalles, Oregon. She was born December 9, 1930 and was 83 years of age.

Graveside services are planned for 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 24th, 2014 at Pine Grove Butte Cemetery.

Norma was born in Lexington, Nebraska to Chase & Lillian (Walter) Norton. Norma moved to Hood River with her parents at the age of three, living in the Pine Grove area, where she attended Pine Grove Grade School. Norma graduated co-valedictorian from Hood River High School Class of 1948.
Norma married William R. Bradley on April 9, 1950 at Pine Grove Methodist Church. Norma and Bill had two children Rebecca born in 1951 and Richard born in 1953. She went to work for Oregon-Washington Telephone Company in the 1950’s retiring from United Telephone Company of the Northwest in 1992. She was a member on Pine Grove Methodist Church for many years.
Norma is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Norton of Mt. Hood; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Michael Porter of Dufur, Oregon; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Wanda Bradley of Springfield, Virginia; three grandchildren; Kathryn, Russell & Michael, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and husband.
Memorials are encouraged to be made in Norma’s name to a charity of your choice.
