Life Story for Michael "Mike" Udelius
Michael Udelius passed away October 13, 2014 at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center of Portland, Oregon. Mike was born September 9, 1948 and was 66 years of age at the time of his passing.
A time for friends to gather with family is planned for 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 16th at the Crag Rat Hut in Pine Grove.
Mike was born in Hood River to Arne and Fern Udelius. He lived in Hood River all of his life. After College he took over the family farm. Mike enjoyed mountain climbing, skiing and being active in the community. He was a long-time member of The Crag Rats and served on a number of different community boards over the years.
Mike is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife, Elaine Udelius of Hood River, OR; daughter, Wendy Achziger (and husband, Randy) of Hood River, OR; son, Herbie (and wife, Tammy) Good of Auburn, WA; father, Arne Udelius of Hood River, OR; sister, Joan (and husband, Paul) Batton of Olympia, WA; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fern.
Memorials are encouraged to be made in Mike’s name to either The Odell Lions Club or Meals on Wheels.
