Condolence From: Karen Heirty
Condolence: Steve, Ida and I were friends for well over 40 years. We played tennis together before work and after work (not on the same day mind you). We always had fun. She was always so positive and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She always had a smile on her face and in her voice. I don't know who enjoyed herr phone calls more-the people she called or Ida herself. She was one of a kind lady. So good, nice, giving and loving. She will be missed greatly.

Condolence: Steve, I am so sorry to hear of Ida's passing. She was such a strong woman regardless of her health struggles. She cared so much and would always ask how my family was every time I saw her. Ida was my first co-worker. I so enjoyed working with her at Bingen Garbage over 20 years ago. I learned so much from her and will always have such fond memories of her friendship! Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time! Ida will be missed!

Condolence: Steve: I was so saddened to hear about Ida. She was a loving and caring woman and tried to put a positive thought into every conversation I had with her. I'm sorry for your loss, and I agree, with Dave, it was fun to watch her hand out Halloween candy every year and ask the kids about their costumes and pretend to be so scared of a 3 year old!

Condolence: Steve, I was very sad to hear of Ida's passing. It was a pleasure knowing her as a good neighbor and friend for 25 years. Ida always had a can do, think positive attitude. She had more than her share of health problems to be sure, yet she managed to make a difference in the lives of myself and others with a friendly call and a listening ear. Please extend our sympathy to your entire family. In Friendship, Judy

Condolence From: Dave Bick
Condolence: Dear Steve,
I am so sorry for your loss. Ida was a lovely woman who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone, even when she herself was in pain. I so enjoyed watching her pass out the Halloween candy at City Hall each year -- the joy on both her and the children's faces was wonderful to see. Please know that my thoughts are with you in this difficult time.
Dave
