Lydia Vallier (Gaines) Cagle, age 85, of Odell, Oregon passed away on Monday June 2, 2014 at the Hood River Care Center in Hood River, Oregon into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Lydia was born on August 5, 1928 in Keo, Arkansas to Arthur Elzie Gaines and Lela Ezell.

Lydia is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband Marvin, daughter Carla Kragness and Mike Swanzy of Eugene, Oregon, son Carl (Carmen) Cagle of The Dalles, Oregon, daughter Lela Hulahan and Mike Sherman of Florence, Oregon, daughter Lara (Steve) Cushing of Federal Way, Washington, son James (Jan) Cagle of Eugene, Oregon, and daughter Mary Lou (Mike) Cooley of Grants Pass, Oregon, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters Callie (Euell) Watts, Donita Sudderth, and Anna Adams.
