Condolence: Gene was a huge part of my late husband George Wilson's life and mine as well. He was George's college roommate and fraternity brother. What impresses me is that Gene left his mark on so many lives and made the world a better place because of his presence in it. He was one of a kind with a huge intellect and a genuine interest in those around him. He will be missed!

Condolence: Our thoughts are with Gene's family at this time. I got to know Gene in the early 80s when he was a leader with folks of the upper valley and others to keep Mt. Hood Meadows from building a huge resort next to orchard lands. He was a gentleman, always compassionate and a steward of this valley in the many capacities where he gave service. He showed the best course, the high ground, and remained a model of how to treat others with equinamity, whether he agreed with someone or pasionatley disagreed.

Condolence: Gene was such a loving and kind man. I was honored to have known him and there is a little piece of me missing with his passing. Meg, and Jennifer, Nathalie and Maren, know that our thoughts are with you during this time. We will all miss him greatly.
