Obituary for Frances M. "Fran" Gregory
Frances “Fran” M. Gregory passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Columbia Basin Care Facility in The Dalles. Fran was born February 22, 1933 in Arkansas to Willy & Thelma Carr and was 80 years of age.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday December 17th, 2013 1:00pm at Cascade Locks Cemetery (95 NW Wa-Na-Pa St. Cascade Locks, OR 97014). Prior to the Graveside Ceremony there will be time for viewing from 10:00am-12:00pm at Anderson’s Tribute Center (1401 Belmont Ave. Hood River).
Fran enjoyed reading, cooking, canning and traveling. Fran and her husband Ben along with her daughter Deann and son-in-law Dan Gibson owned and operated the East Wind Drive-In in Cascade Locks from the early 80’s until her retirement.
Fran is survived and will be dearly missed by her sons Glenn and his spouse Lynda of Parkdale, Tom and spouse Michaela of The Dalles, her six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Gregory and daughter Deann Gibson.
Memorials are encouraged to be made in Fran’s name to National Alzheimer’s Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations) 1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
