Condolence From: John M. Nesbitt
Condolence: Corky I haven't been able to see you much since you moved to The Dalles but do remember the last time you can by my shop while here in Hood River. I have visited your last Harvest Queen out at Hamel Development and think of the many times I got to work on your trucks over the years! As hard as 'logging trucks' get used yours were always kept in top shape and your trucks appreciated that! I will never forget taking your truck home and plugging it in one evening as you were in bed early for your day starting early. I had left a note saying we needed to replace the wooden floor the next weekend as your chair was about ready to fall through and you didn't notice it! You were so up tight about getting the floor replaced that you skipped work that day and had your truck at the shop at 8 the next morning. I pulled the seat and installed 2 - 2" channels under the floor for the seat to mount to so it wouldn't give out so soon from then on. Corky please know that you will be missed for being the great guy you were!! My thoughts are with you!!
